I played for four hours tonight (my first night) and it was awesome. I traded in my Tippmann A-5 for a Proto Matrix Rail, since it seemed more suitable for speedball. A digest version of the rules is there are 5(or 6) players vs. 5 (or 6) and the idea is to knock out all of the opposite team in a 5 minute round. It is *very* fast-paced, and there were about 50 players there tonight so we at least had enough time to refill the hoppers and pods, wipe off the paint, and get back out. There were all kinds of level of players, from professional to the 10yr old “unibombers” who were running around with rented guns and their sweaters pulled up over their goggles. Hilarious.
I made it through a lot of rounds tonight, although I got shot a few times (almost all of them were on my trigger fingers, hopper, and barrel). I ended up getting pelted from behind though when I was running off in the middle of the round, since you have to get off the field when you get shot. I only let that happen once. ;) I ended up shooting a few people too, including 3 people in one round. I was amazed.
Anyways. It is addictive. I love it.

Welcome to Canada b%@ch.
You can go home and tell your friends that you lost to a nightclub bouncer from Montreal.
TV
I found this video today and I thought it was really inspiring. A 20yr old from Germany found out he had terminal leukemia and decided to spend the last year of his life “surfing” high speed trains using a suction cup. I suppose the circumstances are a little sad, but what a great story. Rune In Freiden.
Internet
In the spirit of One Red Paperclip I decided to trade an AMD processor for a Tippmann A-5. I was initially just planning on selling the processor but when someone offered the paintball gun in exchange I figured why not. I don’t actually “play” paintball but since I stumbled upon this opportunity I may try it next week. D.G. told me that she will totally beat me if we play, so I can’t wait.
If I decide that I don’t like paintball I will just trade it off for something else.

Supposedly, through the selection of colors, Colorgenics will help you discover things about yourself that you didn’t know. I didn’t try it yet but I thought I would share.
Psychology
My mom bought me a George Foreman G5 for Christmas. Well, “I” bought it but she paid for it since flying it home from N.S. would most likely result in my being delayed for eternity at HFX. So, I don’t know what happened but the box accidentally opened when D.G. and I got home. :) We made waffles (it comes with 5 swapable trays) in about 2 minutes. It was brilliant. I can’t wait to spend the rest of the week cooking stuff.
