I suppose in this day and age you would think that people would do a little research before jumping to conclusions. It appears that the U.S. Dept. of Defence thought the Canadian Poppy Coin was some type of listening device, complete with the latest in nanotechnology. I guess they released a spy warning and everything. Someone will most likely be reassigned to a listening post in Alert.

Fancy Pants is *addictive* to say the least. I am sure that I wasn’t the only person who designed those pen/paper mazes when I was young (the joy of grid paper). I suppose it may have been a prelude to the first side scrolling games on the C64. I imagine that most of you wouldn’t remember those days (except maybe fusion94, haha). For a little nostalgia, you can actually play 100+ of the original C64 titles online. Just choose a category at the top. Or just stick to Fancy Pants.

Spring. We’re in the process of replacing all of the IKEA furniture. I sold a bunch of stuff today, and hopefully the rest will go soon since DG won’t let me buy anything else until I sell everything.
It will be nice when we’re done though, of course it will most likely take the rest of the year considering the plethora of other things we need to pay for. It is ironic though that the guest room will have the nicest furniture, lol.
The “other things” would mostly be the wedding, which is coming along surprisingly well. We appear to be getting married the same month as everyone I know. DG is happy though, since the majority of her family will be there. We just have to keep my friends from doing anything too embarrassing.
We got the receiver fixed, of course we ended up having to replace all of the speakers. My friend at Best Buy gave us an amazing deal on the Bose Acoustimass 16 home theatre. You wouldn’t believe the difference. The clarity is remarkable, especially considering the speakers are so small. The subwoofer is HUGE though, and it is so loud that the base is turned to -10 and it still rumbles. It is all about THX.
That is about it. Zzz…

Synergy is without question the most amazing software ever. It allows you to share a keyboard and mouse across multiple desktops. You install the software on each system and point one to use the keyboard and mouse from the other (by hostname). It is *very* useful, in particular because the software works across Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux. You should try it.

Redigg has some pretty fascinating pictures of deep sea creatures. I imagine that if you were thinking of visiting 3000m below sea level this would probably convince you to change your mind. There is one that looks like Pikachu.

Modern Drunkard Magazine has the 86 Rules of Boozing. It is perfectly timed considering patio weather is supposedly starting next week. In particular I like “#55: If you think you might be slurring a little, then you are slurring a lot. If you think you are slurring a lot, then you are not speaking English.”
