Thundercats: The Movie

June 7th, 2007

Wow.  It has only be optioned but there is an actual possibility that there will be a Live Action Thundercats movie.  I don’t know if any of you watched Thundercats when you were younger, but it was right up there with ‘Mask’ as far as cartoons. :)  I am guessing that they’re waiting to see how successful (or unsuccessful) the Transformers movie is first. :)

Life: June

June 1st, 2007

I am swamped. You would think that after so many conferences that I would be used to being so busy this time of year, but between the show, the studio, and everything else life is quite hectic lately. It is only until August so I can’t complain too much, it is really just managing my time so that I am not working 24/7. The suppose the fact that I haven’t updated my blog in a month shows how well that is going. :)

The EQ3 furniture arrived and the guest room is officially the most expensive room in the condo. :) It will be nice when we replace the rest of the IKEA furniture, although hopefully we won’t be replacing one brand with another. The fact that IKEA launched a line of furniture that is *real* wood didn’t help, since it’s now impossible to justify spending 5x more on something that looks exactly the same as if it was from EQ3 or Sears.

I hate not being able to write for a month, I forget everything that has happened. :T Um… I think that is basically everything that is going on lately. Work. No agenda for the summer, although it is way too early. I’m hoping we’ll be able to get home before the end of the summer, but who knows what will happen between now and the end of August.

Hopefully the Senators can win tomorrow.

UFO

I don’t have a clue if it was photoshopped, but the images are pretty cool. :) I can’t imagine what it would be like if you were suddenly driving down the street and suddenly saw that hovering above you. It was probably just a weather balloon. :) I love a good conspiracy.

I know Iraq isn’t exactly a popular subject lately, but this ‘A Scanner Darkly’ style sketch is quite nifty.

Another reason why I don’t plan on swimming with tigers anytime soon. :)

That’s No Moon!

That’s a space…er…hotel. :) Rem Koolhaas designed a proposal for a building in Dubai. All I can say is that if they get a Deathstar Hotel I am going to get me a penthouse suite and R2-D2 being ready to serve G.G. 24/7. I’m going to go back to building my large scale AT-AT. :)
