The “Lost” Tribe

June 30th, 2008

So the tribe wasn’t so lost.  It ends up that they have known about the tribe since 1910 and the entire story was a hoax to promote awareness.  I still think the idea of them building a shrine to the airplane made for an interesting read. :-)

UFO

June 1st, 2007

I don’t have a clue if it was photoshopped, but the images are pretty cool. :) I can’t imagine what it would be like if you were suddenly driving down the street and suddenly saw that hovering above you. It was probably just a weather balloon. :) I love a good conspiracy.

Facebook: The Conspiracy

April 11th, 2007

I don’t consider myself a fan of social networking sites.  I have been bombarded recently though to join the millions of people who already signed up on Facebook.  It is basically MySpace (at least IMHO) without the music.  Facebook only recently allowed access to its site to the public after originally only allowing students.  I know a LOT of people who use Facebook as their blog, post pictures there, and manage their social lives.  You could argue that it isn’t any different than keeping a blog (like this one for instance) except that there isn’t information on a LOT of people in one place.  I am a huge fan of conspiracy theories, so needless to say that when someone emailed me a link to this video I knew I had to share it with the rest of you.  Enjoy. :)

The Skylab Incident

January 16th, 2006

Something for all you conspiracy theorists.

The Space Review has released an article on the 1974 incident where astronauts “pointed their camera out the window and took pictures of a facility that did not officially exist.” It is quite remarkable to see the lengths the U.S. government will go to keep things secret even if it isn’t necessary to continue to do so. It is an interesting read none the less.
